Rosewood’s stocks two types of Signode premium quality steel strapping that is manufactured from cold-rolled, medium carbon steel. Standard steel strapping benefits from a high break strength and a high tensile steel strapping range is heat treated so that it is not only strong but it also has excellent shock resistance. Both forms of strapping are available with or without a zinc painted or waxed finish or combination of both. This can improve tension transmission around load corners, reduce scratching and surface damage and protect the strapping from rust.

Our range is stocked in two types of coil windings: 

• Mill wound - the strapping is wavered uniformly and tightly across the width of the coil (also known as oscillated).
• Ribbon wound - each layer of strapping is wound directly over the one below.
