Pulp packaging is an economical alternative to expanded polystyrene and other plastic-based cushioning materials. It is manufactured from waste papers to produce a pulp mulch that is vacuum formed onto moulds and then oven dried to form a permanent shape. Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA) tests indicate that pulp packaging can cushion against low impact as effectively as its corrugated equivalent.

Rosewood supplies pulp ribbed corner protectors that are ideal for protecting corners of doors, worktops and windows and plain-sided protectors are suitable for covering vulnerable corners of furniture. We can also supply customised pulp mouldings according to the shape of unique and fragile products.  After use, pulp packaging can be reused or recycled and it is biodegrade.
