Pallet collars provide a flexible, secure, stable, reusable, solution for protecting palletised products. As they have an average working life of between 10 and 15 years, they are also an economical reusable solution. In addition, Packaging Waste Regulation liabilities are reduced.Rosewood’s collars can be built up in increments of 195mm, thus producing a close-boarded, highly rigid, timber protective case of a height to suit the application. The ability of the collars to provide package height flexibility ensures that storage space is optimised both in the warehouse and during transportation. The collars are of a proven design and are well established in reusable packaging systems worldwide.
Rosewood’s pallet collars are manufactured from strong and durable Scandinavian softwood. The timber is planed all round, providing a clean surface for marking or attaching labels to. Logos or addresses can be printed onto the collars at the point of manufacture. Each collar is finished at 195mm in depth, is 20mm thick and has a galvanised 1.25g steel locking profile in each corner. Each one locks the collar into position when it is placed onto a pallet or where one collar is rested upon another to increase the height.

The steel profiles are hinged, enabling the pallet collars to be collapsed when not in use. As the collars have minimal volume when collapsed, not only is warehouse storage space maximised but also the return freight cost of the packaging is low.
If required, we can supply timber or plastic pallets and lids for the collars. Rosewood’s sales advisers will be pleased to discuss individual needs.
