The Instapak® Quick™ foam-in-bag system produces foam cushions in an instant. The cushions provide superior protection for high value goods and are ideal for delicate, smaller and unusually shaped parts and components.

Instapak® Quick™ differs from other Instapak® systems provided by Rosewood because it does not require any operational equipment other than a warmer device for the 3 ply bags. The outer layers of the bags are manufactured from tough polyethylene and the middle ply is nylon that increases the bag strength to prevent bursting.

The system works by placing the bags in the warmer that activates the liquid Instapak® foam contained within each one. The warmer holds up to 18 bags at any one time. A heated bag is unfolded and placed on a flat surface. When pressure is applied to a ‘Press Here’ area on the bag it will open an internal seal. Parts A and B, which are indicated on the bag, are then mixed together causing the Instafill® foam to expand inside the bag.

Whilst the foam is expanding, the bag is placed inside a carton and a product is nestled on top of the rising cushion. A second expanding foam-filled bag is then placed over the product and the carton flaps are closed. The Instapak® Quick™ bag will expand around the product and against the sides of the carton to form a top cushion and to provide superior product protection with minimal material and waste.

This is an easy to use system which takes up a minimum of packing operation space the equivalent of a room full of packaging material can be stored in a single carton.
