Eco2™ Air Cushion Packaging System

The Eco2™ machine is portable, compact and easy to operate. It can be placed on a bench and uses a similar size of space to that of a personal computer. The machine can be supplied in a variety of ways to suit both small and large users, either on an outright purchase basis for a nominal rent or on a free of charge basis. Rosewood can supply machine-fit rolls of film and where required, we can also arrange for it to be pre-printed with a customer’s logo (a small origination fee is required).
Eco2™ air cushions are made from a strong, clear polythene that has exceptional shock and impact protection properties. This high quality film, together with the consistency of the air input and the economical heat-sealing process enables the system to produce a superior air cushion. Furthermore, the cushion remains inflated longer than many other similar types of voidfill and this provides extended protection to products.
The air cushions are separated by perforations and the packer can tear strips of cushions to the required length. The film is supplied on rolls and the system can produce 4 cubic metres of air cushioning per hour. For packaging lines that require rapid throughput, Eco2™ can make in excess of 3000 air cushions per hour. Eco2™ air cushions are easy to collect and can be re-used or recycled and because they are easily deflated after use, packaging disposal space is minimised.
