The Eco2® system produces high performance air cushions that are superior, in both appearance and performance to other similar products. As 95% of the material is air, Eco2® air cushions are an economical option when compared to paper or polystyrene voidfill. The cushions are produced from strong, clear polythene that has exceptional shock and impact protection properties. A degradable version of this high quality film is optional. The consistency of the air input and the economical heat-sealing process enables the system to produce a superior air cushion that remains inflated longer than many other similar types of cushions.

The cushions are separated by perforations and this enables a packer to tear strips to a required length and as a clean product, this minimises untidiness in the packing area. The film is supplied on rolls and the system can produce 4 cubic metres of air cushioning per hour. For packaging lines that require rapid throughput, Eco2® can make in excess of 3000 air cushions per hour.

Using its internal air source, Eco2® is quieter than machines that require an external air compressor.  Portable, compact and easy to operate, it can be placed on a bench and uses a similar size of space to that of a personal computer. The machine can be supplied in a variety of ways to suit both small and large users of air bags, either on an outright purchase basis, for a nominal rent or on a free of charge basis. Rosewood can supply machine-fit rolls of film and where required, we can also arrange for it to be pre-printed with a customer’s logo.

Eco2® air cushions are easy to collect and can be re-used or recycled. Being easily deflated after use, packaging disposal space is minimised.  Rosewood’s Sales Advisers will be pleased to arrange a demonstration of the Eco2® system.
