As part of the expansion of our head office, warehouse & distribution capacity in the North East, Rosewood has acquired a new building on the North Chirton Industrial Estate. The building extends to approximately 43,000 sq ft and was identified on our behalf by DTZ who represented Rosewood in negotiations with the vendor, BBC Pension Trust Limited.
Allan Sandison at DTZ commented, “We were aware of Rosewood’s search for additional facilities and with our knowledge of the forthcoming availability of the factory we were able to bring the two together to produce a deal.”
The factory is directly opposite one of our existing manufacturing sites and consequently the acquisition has several advantages.
Stephen Lord, Group Managing Director said, “The securement of additional premises is a key step forward in our plans for Rosewood. We have experienced substantial growth, in particular, over the last 5 years and the company has developed into a vibrant, leading member of the packaging industry. Our reputation for providing high quality goods is a tribute to the skills, commitment and loyalty of our employees.”
