Cell-Aire® is low-density, light-weight, micro-cellular polyethylene foam made from air-filled closed cells. It is manufactured by a unique CFC (chloro-fluorocarbon) free process to produce a non-abrasive, non-corrosive material. It is flexible, clean, dust and lint free. It has excellent tear strength and high resistance to bursting and piercing. The cushioning has high memory that enables it to spring back into shape after compression. Being moisture resistant and non-abrasive, the foam provides ideal protection for sensitive and delicate surfaces. It is also chemically inert and does not, therefore give rise to surface-to-product reactions.

Cell-Aire® is also heat-sealable and can be made into customised bags. Being lightweight and thin, the material can reduce freight costs. It can be provided pre-cut into bespoke sheet sizes to reduce packaging waste and packing labour costs.
