Altaess® Loosefill

Altaess® is a high quality loosefill. Composed of 99.6% air and 0.4% synthetic polystyrene, its non-hygroscopic chips are produced by a steam expansion process.  Each chip is approximately 1” x 1.5”.

Altaess® is elastic and the white chips lock and squeeze together, absorbing impact when goods are subjected to shock and rough handling. After compression, it instantly returns to its original state and because it can retain its properties even after repeated use, it offers long term economical protection to goods whilst being transported and stored. Altaess® can be safely disposed by incineration or as landfill.
